Lisa fell asleep

So here I am posting again. I'm rather bored which is why I'm here. I have a pounding headache and my wrist is starting to throb, so really I should go do something else but hey, I like the Internet and I like my computer so I don't care.

Anyhoo, what deep and meaningful thing can I talk about today? My day was kinda ordinary (it worries me sometimes how much my life seems to blur by), school as usual. Oh, but I did find out that after half term somebody is coming into the school to present me with the award and the prize money for the art competition that I won. Kinda excited but very nervous at the same time. I'm not very confident and so I'll feel awful getting up to get that award, but hey, I'll be sitting on the stage with the rest of the prefects anyway, so it won't be as bad. I was told that the other day Lisa was sitting on the stage right behind the teacher who was taking the assembly and she was falling asleep in a very obvious manner. This was visible to everyone who was in the hall extension as they would have seen a zoomed in version on the projector. I wish I'd have been there to see but I was in my form room with Carrie finishing some German off.

Feeling rather mad that my friends decided that they'd send the communal letter that we all do for our buddies up in Newcastle without telling me. And I bet that the present that I helped to buy wasn't included in there because it rather convieniently 'got lost'. They made me look so bad, but I was going to write my replies this weekend and it was too late, the pig headed ones had already decided to send it. Great. Nasty people.

Laptops and websites

Okay, I've fixed the layout so that it now works how I want it to, so I suppose it's about time to add an entry that isn't a few lines long huh?

Where to begin...where to begin... well, first off I'm not domainless any longer. Thanks to a dear friend's generosity I now have Angelnamedfaith to keep me happy. I've been busy working on the layouts for the various aspects of the site, and being the HTML geek that I am designing a layout for each part of the site has been really fun (stop laughing!) I have the layouts for most of the sections complete, I just need to add the content.

I now have a laptop! It doesn't have the internet and I do have the problem that until we get the floppy disk drive in the computer fixed I can't transfer any of the stuff that I do on the laptop to the internet, but it's great because I can type and read manga and edit my website to my hearts content and it's all mine! I just finished reading 8 volumes of Chobits on it and I'm now trying to get hold of some more manga for after I finish the last bit of Naruto that I have left. I may buy some from eBay, but they don't have one of the ones that I really want to read. Chobits was good, I enjoyed it a lot.

It's getting to that time at school where we have to decide what colleges we want to go to and the GCSEs are starting to lurk just around the corner. It's quite worrying really. I don't want to have to think that in less than a year I won't be at the school I'm in now and I'll have to start the process of making new friends all over again. I'm dreading that. I just don;t make friends very easily, but part of me hopes that it'll be a bit of a knock on the head that'll MAKE me make friends easier. It'd sure help in the furure and I'd love to meet new people.

Anyhoo... I'm bored now....

Ramble ramble!

Just thought I'd add an actual entry. The layout is still kinda screwed, I need to change the links and get used to this again, it's been about 2 years since I used diaryland.

Anyway, it's the school holidays and today I went to the library with my younger sister. Oh, and I have tea now... ack.
